1. What is BHPian?
BHPian is a new social platform exclusively for car lovers and enthusiasts with a unique twist - the primary identity is your Car, you are simply the owner. One can create and manage their car's profile and share pictures/stories/reviews of it with fellow and interested like-minded folks. Me and some of my friends have started using the platform for fun but a platform has no value without a community. So, urge car lovers to join and explore BHPian.
2. Do I need to own a Car to join BHPian?
The short answer is NO. You can simply join BHPian to browse and explore what other BHPians are sharing. You can follow Cars that you love so that you don't miss their posts. You can like, comment and share just like any other social platform. But you will need to add your car first before you can start posting photos, stories and reviews for the same.
3. How can I start posting content on BHPian?
First, you simply need to add your car by clicking 'Add Vehicle'. Once added, you can then click 'Add Photo', 'Add Story', 'Add Review' to post your car's photo, any related story or car review respectively. You can add as many cars as you own (this creates an online profile of your car) and start posting on their behalf.
4. What to post under Photo?
While adding any post, please keep in mind that you are posting on behalf of your car. So, you can post any photo of that car, or related to your car or drive. It could be the car itself - exteriors/interiors, parts, view while driving, etc. Feel free to share and show off as much as you can!
5. What to post under Review?
You can click on 'Add Review' to post car related review. It can be your ownership experience, driving experience or service/center experience. You can add multiple reviews for your car. Click on 'Reviews' section from the menu to learn what others have posted.
6. What to post under Story?
You can click on 'Add Story' to post car related stories. Anything, which is not a review (see above), falls under this category. It can be your car shortlisting/buying experience, road trip stories, anything meaningful that you want to share with the larger audience.
7. What is Owner's club?
Owner's club, as the name suggests, is a group of owner's for a specific car make and model. As soon as you add a car (by clicking 'Add Vehicle'), you automatically become part of that car's owners club. You can visit the owner's club to see all the posts by owners of that specific car make/model. You can also post in the owner's club to connect with other owners.
